Izem Defense Systems is a Moroccan defense technology startup based in Casablanca. We focus on autonomy software, unmanned systems research and AI advisory, with a long-term aim of developing local engineering expertise and sovereign capability.

Izem means lion in Tamazight. The name reflects the vigilance, independence and quiet strength we want to bring to Moroccan engineering.
We are a young company with a long-term purpose: to help Morocco design, understand and own the autonomous technologies it depends on. That work starts with people, research and rigorous development.

What does Izem develop?
Our development priorities cover autonomy software, onboard perception, unmanned aerial systems and future ground and maritime applications. These are research and development directions; this site does not offer an operational product catalogue.
Are the systems shown ready for deployment?
The imagery is conceptual. Izem is at an early stage of development. Product readiness, performance and delivery commitments require specific evidence and a separate technical review.
What should a first discussion cover?
Share a non-confidential description of your need, the relevant platform or research area, and the person who can assess a follow-up. We can then discuss the scope, responsibilities and criteria for a possible study.
